This has to be one of the most beautiful poems I have ever read. So romantic, so mystical, just so incredibly lovely. I was perusing the latest copy of Somerset Life this evening and came across this lovely poem and article by Madelyn Mulvaney. She speaks about her love for poetry and about a cherished trip to the beach...alone. If you have never purchased this magazine before you are truly missing out. Actually, it is more like a book than a magazine with each page to be savored and lingered over like a prized piece of exquisite chocolate...or perhaps with a prized piece of exquisite chocolate! Each issue is filled with inspirational stories by artful women across the country and around the world. The photographs that accompany the articles are worth it themselves and I am continually in awe of the talent of these amateur women photographers. Most of them could have promising careers with their eloquent writing skills and beautiful photography. I urge you to pick up a copy of Somerset Life or any one of their other many inspirational publications. You will be transported into a world of art, couture, journaling, photography and many other worthwhile pastimes that will lift your spirits, boost your creativity and make you dream. Until next time, ~Stacy~ xo

What If...
"what if you slept?
and what if,
in your sleep
you dreamed?
and what if,
in your dream,
you went to heaven
and there plucked
a strange and
beautiful flower?
and what if,
when you awoke,
you had the flower in
your hand?
ah!!!
what then?"

Hi Stacy,
Your blog is sooooooo beautiful! I've visited your blog many times, but this is my first time commenting. Actually, a few years ago I won a lovely aqua swag lamp from you for about sixty dollarson ebay. I love the lamp and it's in my craft/creative room. Do you remember me, maybe? Anyway, I have my own blog and occasionally sell under the name vintagenest on ebay. Should you like to visit me on the web, I'm at: thespanishdahlia.typepad.com
~ Have a lovely day,
Steph
