A Little French Country....

Lately my decorating quests are taking me into the realm of French and French Country decorating. My home is slowly evolving with a fresh, new look and I am loving it. It's probably because I've "done" shabby and cottage, etc. for so long now that I need a change. I still love shabby and cottage decor, but it's been 10 years so a new direction is slowly coming on board. Recently I received my first Pierre Deux catalog. It's been out there for years, but because I wasn't into that sort of decor, I just didn't know about it. If you are interested in receiving their catalog, just log into www.pierredeux.com and you can request one. It is filled with gorgeous french country style furnishings and home decor pieces. Some of the items are abit pricey, but it's great to look at for ideas and inspiration. For all of you French enthusiasts out there, check it out! ~Stacy~ xo

Our New Look!

Hello Ladies ~

Well, it's official...I've just launched our new web site look this evening. I hope you like it! I love the new chocolate and pink color scheme along with some new graphics. I was opting for an elegant look with a dash of French grunge! LOL! Whatever that means...the graphics are not perfect looking as well as the text and that is the image I was going for instead of everything being crisp and neat. I still have tweaking to do here and there and I have to convert all of the listings over to the new backgrounds and colors and that will take a few days, but the main part of it is basically done. I hope you like it! Let me know....not that I will be doing it over or anything! (*_*), but I'd love to know what you think! Thanks gals! ~Stacy~ xo

Going Crazy!

Well, yes...it's official, I'm going crazy! I have been working on a new look for my web site for about a month now and it sure seems to be dragging on. I think I finally have my new look "nailed down", but I still have so many details to work out. I have opted for a different color scheme and a slightly different look. It's hard to explain and I'll guess you'll see it when I'm done. It would be so much easier if I just got someone to do my work for me, but I really do enjoy doing it myself and I somehow feel like someone else could never really capture the vision of what I want to portray. There is so much to learn in web design and when you're not an expert and you have to figure things out along the way, it sure does take a LOT of time, especially the graphics! Hopefully I'll have it all done by the end of this month! By the way, the picture above does not reflect my new look in any way...I just needed a picture for this post! LOL! Take care ladies and wish me luck ~ I'm going to need it! ~Stacy~ xo

A Surprise Is A Wonderful Thing...

How many of you ladies out there have those dreamy, romantic husbands who continually surprise you with flowers, presents and good deeds? My husband is definitely not one of those types, even though he does do a lot of good deeds for me! Don't get me wrong ~ I love him to death, but he is just not the romantic sort, at least not in a "flowery" romantic way. I'm sure many of you know what I'm talking about. (*_*) He shows me how much he loves me by fixing that leaky faucet or cooking dinner or doing something in the yard that I've wanted done for a long time. He's just not a flowers and chocolates type of guy! LOL! Imagine my surprise when he walked in on Monday night at 1:05 a.m. from work with this gorgeous bouquet of beautiful red roses! He stopped off at the grocery store on the way home and lo and behold, bought me a present along with the other things he picked up. Needless to say, I was completely stunned...I think I still am! And I thought that I had him all figured out...completely amazing... ~Stacy~ xo
