MY PRETTY ROSE TREE
by William Blake

A flower was offered to me,
Such a flower as May never bore;
But I said "I've a pretty rose tree,"
And I passed the sweet flower o'er.

Then I went to my pretty rose tree,
To tend her by day and by night;
But my rose turned away with jealousy,
And her thorns were my only delight.

Stacy, What a joy to receive an email about your new purchases. I especially loved your new redo bedroom, wish I could downsize some in mine! I have to say I had the biggest laugh to see your Hello Kitty Clock, cause I have one to! Mine is the teacup one with the lemon wedge that lights as a nightlite! How cute is it we both wake to a cute little kitty! Take care, Lori
