My Gazebo Is Ready For Summer!

Summer is right around the corner so today I decided it was time to get
my gazebo all spruced up for those hot days and warm evenings ahead.

I have a mixture of things that I like to put in the gazebo and it never
looks the same from one year to the next.  Yes, I would like white wicker
furniture, but that will have to wait and some of the things are not quite
ready to take the the thrift store, yet they're not right for the house, so
they often end up outside somewhere in the summer.

I have a few vintage hooked rugs that I don't really want in the house
anymore so they ended up out here...I like it!  (*_*)

Above all, it has to be comfy!

I wish that I had more of these old rugs to cover more space, but as it is
they will probably be getting wet from the underground sprinklers.

I love this statue out here.  She's quite banged up and I don't really want
her in the house, but I don't want to get rid of her so...

Some comfy rose pillows and faux flowers (hey, they're low
maintenance out here!) complete the romantic scene.

This candle will look pretty at night!

I have a chandelier for those late nights and this year I added some
pretty umbrellas and oriental style paper lanterns to the ceiling.

My little vintage pink wrought iron table completes the scene.

I hope you enjoyed your visit!

Oh Stacy it is gorgeous! I love those rugs, wish I could find a big square on like that for under the dining table! I just spent last weekend re doing the front patio, it was looking pretty tired! The Florida sun really does a job on everything. I picked up a wicker table to move it and the legs crumbled off LOL! The statue is fabulous! Sorry I trumped your rose tutorial...This was more fun anyway! OK, I just have to ask....Have you gotten a new puppy yet? It's time now with summer here!

Thanks for the comments ladies! And no Carol, no new puppy yet. I am taking a pet break for awhile and I'm not sure when I will want another one. Maybe one day... ~Stacy~

It looks lovely Stacy! We are still having rain, rain, rain here in Northern California! "They" say it will end by Tuesday... Hoping it's true!
Enjoy your beautiful setting.

Such a dreamy and romantic setting! I can just imagine it at night! Love the natural colored wicker. I've got lots of white, but I'm really liking yours. Love the "ceiling" touches you added, too. And those rugs are just sooo pretty. I'm sighing......

Happy PS!

Stacy, the pergola room looks incredible, and I wouldn't change the natural wicker for white. I love the ceiling treatment with the parasols and lanterns, and as for your rugs, if you ever want to sell me the pink one, give me a holler!
