My Mom's House

Today I'm sharing just a few pictures of my Mom's living room.  I snapped

these really quickly when I was at her place in Canada last fall, so the

picture quality isn't great, but you will get the idea. 

Mom lives in a beautiful Victorian (newer Victorian) style home and she

has decorated it beautifully!  I can't tell you how many of the pieces in

this picture came from Utah.  We love to treasure hunt when she is here!

Those lovely highback Victorian chairs were blue when she purchased them

here at an auction.  She had them reupholstered in swanky burgandy velvet

and they are gorgeous!  Hmmm...let's see...the sconces on either side of the

mirror, the candlesticks and the rose vase are all from Utah too!

Here's a different view out toward the sunroom...as if you couldn't tell...it's

looking kind of bright!  I love her sofa and loveseat!  It is so comfortable and

it reminds me of the furniture that used to be on the show "Bonanza"...sort of

an elegant Victorian ranch style.  She has lots of pretty carved floral rugs too!

This silver tea service is a favorite too and it weighs a ton!

Just A Bit Of Pink...

I just wanted to share a few pics with you today and the first one is a

picture of our Japanese flowering cherry tree (Kwanzan cherry).  We

planted three of them on our park strip last year and I am thrilled that

they made it through the winter and are now blooming!  I love these trees!

I cannot wait until they get big and make our street look even prettier!

Aren't the blossoms just amazing!

Here are my pink roses that I bought at Costco the other day...love

them in my old large mason jar!  These ones smell gorgeous too!

Just look at these blooms...*sigh*...is there anything better?!

Sweet Faux Cupcakes ~ Yum Yum!

Well it's been exactly one month since I have blogged!  I know...where did the

time go?  I took a little vacation and got a bad cold as the result of it, am

battling seasonal allergies and am trying to get rid of another little issue!  I

hope that I am on the mend!  With all of that being said, I thought it was high

time that I listed some more faux cupcakes as my stock is running really low.

Here are some of the newest ones that are listed in my Sweet Treats Boutique!

All of my newest cupcakes have sweet vintage ballerina toppers, either dotted

or silver cupcakes liners and either pink or white sparkled frosting!

These look good enough to eat!
