Waiting for the prom...

A frothy pink confection of a dress
sits in my living room...

on my new dress form that I tea dyed to look vintage...

It must have been a prom or wedding dress...not terribly old,
but pretty just the same...

I added a sweet vintage pearl choker (love the scallops!),
one of my newer necklaces
and a delicate ivory fabric flower...

the pink bow and little piece of bling were original...

and I think it all looks so enchanting together.

A huge big bow made out of yards of ivory netting was added to the back...

and it was finished in the middle with a
pink fabric flower (can you tell I love those things!)...

Now all she needs is a date!

Yes Carol, I'm sure it's probably a wedding dress now that I think about it, but hey, it would work for a prom too..except for the fact that the train would get stepped on all of the time! (*_*)

Hello. You probably don't get too many guys comment on your blog, but I could not pass this up. Do you mind me asking the story behind her (the dress)? I was drawn to the beauty.

Thanks,
Jose
