A Little French Country....

Lately my decorating quests are taking me into the realm of French and French Country decorating. My home is slowly evolving with a fresh, new look and I am loving it. It's probably because I've "done" shabby and cottage, etc. for so long now that I need a change. I still love shabby and cottage decor, but it's been 10 years so a new direction is slowly coming on board. Recently I received my first Pierre Deux catalog. It's been out there for years, but because I wasn't into that sort of decor, I just didn't know about it. If you are interested in receiving their catalog, just log into www.pierredeux.com and you can request one. It is filled with gorgeous french country style furnishings and home decor pieces. Some of the items are abit pricey, but it's great to look at for ideas and inspiration. For all of you French enthusiasts out there, check it out! ~Stacy~ xo

Thanks for the nod for the catalog, Stacy. I'll head over to apply for one immediately. It's interesting to learn that you are moving into a new direction - I've always believed there are "Many Shades of Shabby" and shabby architectural details work beautifully with French Country. Hope to see some of the changes you are making soon. In fact, if you don't mind, I'm adding your blog to my reasons "Why the Paint Dries on My Brushes" so I don't forget to check back for updates.

My bests,
Devonia

Hi Stacy! I love the new look, it's just beautiful, I love French country, most of my kitchen and family room are french country, it's so warm and very elegant without being too stuffy. You'll have to post pics of your decor! Hugs, Kimberly
